Apur is a growing town on the outskirts of Sriperumbudur – Oragadum Highway known for the number of Industrial names or otherwise known as "Corporate Club" of Chennai. It's a home to the likes of Nokia, Saint Gobain, Motorola, and Samsung along with motor giants Daimler, Renault-Nissan and Hyundai. We were approached and commissioned to design 450 Acres into an integrated township of mixed development. The land once survey had three natural water bodies and the development was contoured to enjoy the innate resource. The client envisioned the property to accommodate a golf course of 18 holes with weekend timeshare villas and apartments catering to the expatriate population it current hosts on the corridor and Chennai's current necessity. Functional spaces like Commercial IT Buildings, Film Academy and convention centers were integrated into design as the principle work zones of the township. Facilities such as Sports center, School and hospital spaces were designated to add amenities and value to the township. Extensive research was done to achieve the design integration to effectively combine the processing spaces with non-processing spaces seamlessly to ensure effective management of the land area and habitual privacy. The planning design was completed with entrances and exits, roads, landscaped areas to achieve complete feasibility on the entirety.
